We have snow in London now too Brrrrrrr!!
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Yup, and here. Great time for my boiler to pack up!! I've got no heat and have just drained my water tank so that the pipes don't freeze and burst. I am sitting here in my freezing cold house, freezing... :snowing: :snowing: Luckily I can stay at Mum and Dad's till I get a new boiler which should be next Monday. :D

Oh crikey Hilary, make sure you keep yourself warm. Hope you get your boiler fixed soon :D

We've opted for a new boiler which won't be installed until next Monday! Good job I have my laptop although I will have to print the calendars on Mum's pc. I'm sure she won't mind. :-D

I just started the fireplace up!!! :D So now it is very warm, as long as you stay indoors.

Incredible André
Here, it`s minus 7, but because of the heavy wind, it feels like minus 15, which you probably consider as mild 8-)

They showed pictures on the news yesterday that they had snow in many countries in Europe. Even Spain had some!! :D

I don´t mind the cold but I don´t like remove the ice from the car and having trouble opening the doors on it because they are sometimes frozen and almost impossible to open!! :banghead:

Once on another car I had I manage to break the handle when I was trying to open the door when it was frozen. Suddenly it broke and I stood there with only a handle in my hand!! I had to climb through the car to get to the seat!!

I agree...How on earth can you live with those temperatures????

Yesterday at night -1ºC at Bordeaux...and it is too much cold for me. I can imagine how I felt if I read -15 at the termometer :(

well, my spanish friends....we must survive, so we eat special dutch winterdishes ( you never heard of them, but we have a lot) , we dress warm and we put the heatting on so inside it`s cosy and warm,at least 21 degrees.
Waht`s killing us, is not the cold but the gas bill :(

It's -7°C here. I wonder if we will able to go to Enschede on Saturday after all. :fingers:

It's pretty cold here too

Last night I went to a concert in Frankfurt. It was one of my favourite bands - Blood Red Shoes. Some of you may have heard of them. Or not :)

Anyway, they mentioned that they had to climb out of the window of their van because they couldn't open the doors :) :) :)

Well the snow made it over the big pond this weekend.

We woke up to a Winter Wonderland this morning..it's beautiful but soooo cold. We usually don't get that much snow in December (or any time of the year)..
