Guys and gals... smurfers and.... smurfetters?

I'm flying to Indonesia tomorrow... so I won't be posting for almost a month... so don't think Dutchy is gone... he's just on a holiday.

So I bid thee farewell... and hope to smurf you soon!

Have a nice time in Indonesia Dutchy.

What made you decide to go to Indonesia? I have never been there but that may be because certain people there in certain places are not too friendly towards Australians due to certain religious upbringings and Australia's involvement in the middle east......either that or they just really hated our tv show called "Skippy" :o

I have heard many of the people there can be really nice though

@ Dyar Many Dutch people will visit Indonesia, because it is a former Dutch colony ( till end of the second world war)

Fijne vakantie en goede reis gewenst!!

I did not know that Lia....very interesting to find out though. Where else did the Dutch have colonies where they still feel a link towards?

South Africa for one. Afrikaans developed from the original Dutch settlers. :D

That`s correct Hilary
And we had new Guinea and Suriname ( till 1975) and there are still 6 islands, The Antilles ( Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, St Maarten, Saba and St Eustatius) that are Dutch.

But what about New York, that was called New Amsterdam earlier? :) :)
