Blue Cavern

We're off on holiday tomorrow & we're going to Dahme near Lübeck in the north of Germany, on the Baltic coast. We've rented a holiday flat & will be spending a week there.

It's going to be great being back on the coast again.

I catch up with all the happenings at Blue Cavern at the end of next week & I'll try to post a few photos too. Lübeck is supposed to be very pretty.

I've heard about the marzipan & will definitely get some.

What I'm actually worried about is that the only beer I know of from Schleswig-Holstein is Flensburger & I don't like it I hope I can find other beers from the region which are yummy

Well I've had my beers so I'd better post the pictures from the holiday now...

First of all a bit about Dahme where we stayed. It's on the Baltic sea north of Lübeck in the north of Germany. At this time of year it was very quiet which was great for us & as the weather was fantastic (sun, sun & more sun which also = sunburn as it was always a little bit breezy) we went to the beach every day. There were 2 parts of the beach where dogs were allowed which Sammy loved & the food was excellent & great value. It was also very clean & also children friendly. I can recommend it to anyone thinking about visiting the area
