Playmobil RC Train for Christmas... Not smurfs...

Forgive me Father Attom: for my big Chrissy Present this year I asked for the Playmobil RC Train.

Granted, I intend to use it for my smurf village (hang the playmobil people), but somehow it seems like I betrayed the dream.

Blame Schleich! Dammit! If they had re-released the Farmhouse or the Windmill with a cheesy new color, I would've bought that!

Anyhow:
It's going to be a Playmobil Christmas, folks. What can I do?

as punishment! I do hope if you get Santa to bring you a train

that at least we get to see some photos of it?? or I may need

to banish you from smurfland!

Oh dear Tim, you seem to be slipping to the dark side! :)

At least you have good intentions for the non smurf (sorry can't bring myself to say the word) pressie but it will be fun to see how you can use it for your smurf display. :-D

My wife thinks it's the twilight zone--and that's before the train.

Fosters is hilarious. When it first appeared in the USA, it was considered stylish, robust, and tasty.

Corona is another crap beer I remember my friends and I making a big deal of.

Since that time, the American microbreweries have broken out, so Corona and Fosters no longer carry the monopoly on alternative drinking. Nowadays, people practically think of Fosters and Corona as American beers (like the everpresent Dutch "Heineken"). Every petrol station sells them.

What's hilarious: Guinness brews it's American exports in Canada. So, we're actually drinking Canadian Guinness, but assume it came from Ireland because the label still reads "Imported".
But, on a similar note:
The US's MGD (Miller Genuine Draft) is very similar to urine. However, it is expensive and sought-after in some Asian countries.

Thank god for that.... :D

I am serious in saying that no one drinks Fosters down here....they're like MC Hammer's 2nd album in that they are always in the cheap bargain bins and on sale.....and still not selling :)

I know Karen doesn't mind Fosters and nor does one of my friends in Germany. They never advertise Fosters locally as it would really be considered a export beer cos that's where their market is.......of course if you ever see me on a Fosters ad saying...Mmmm, now that has hit the spot"...or "Fosters...the beer we drink around here".....then you can be pretty certain that they paid me with a Schlumpf-burg beforehand or better yet, a set of keys to Attom's apartments :D

My Dad once hassled me when I was 14 for drinking West Coast Coolers...he thought I was just showing off drinking something "remotely" alcoholic.....what he didn't realise was that I was just taking it easy cos I had a major hang over from the night before where I drank enough vodka to drown a horse :!: I guess my Dad is pretty sad......and I guess little Jack will say the same thing about me before too long :???:

Do they have "Near Beer" down under? It's alcoholic enough that adults (21 and under) can't purchase it here. I guess it's for recovering alcoholics trying to get over the urge, but still want to drink with their mates? Or, maybe it should be called "Accountant Beer" because the only ones who drink it are those too prudish to drink real beer ("It makes me stop wanting to be so tidy"), but geek enough to want to "feel wild and crazy" by drinking beer?

I don't know who buys it, but it has more than a few brands and takes up some shelf space at the grocer.

We have light beer here which is beer that defeats the purpose. :o
