Does anyone know what the rules are regarding baggage at Heathrow Airport is?

I unfortunately had to say to David that I ws not able to fit his sockels into my luggage bag. I could take them in a 2nd seperate carry on bag but I was wondering if airport customs or security would stop me?

I need to know this as I would love to bring sockels to David and hand deliver them...although I am worried about protecting them throughout Europe as well.

Raelene also asked me to bring stuff back and so did Meagan and there is a very good chance that I will have even less room (if possible) on the way home. I guess I just wanted to know what are the rules as I was on the understanding that Heathrow was stricter than most airports at the moment but I haven't been able to find info on it. I was basically wondering if I could take a 2nd carry on bag (full of smurfs) with me or whether they would make me leave them at the airport?

Thanks

Dyar

Dyar,
Don't worry about my stuff now, I'll just get Dennis to send it.
It will be insured that way so at least you won't have to pay for it if they go missing :)

Thanks anyway :D
:winks: Raelene

I will make some calls about Sydney today.....damn terrorist

They spoil everything for everyone in so many ways

Maybe I should of got a bigger bag....but then again I thought I would have spare room left over still as it's not exactly a small backpack either.

The following items are prohibited from hand (cabin) baggage:
Any cosmetics*
Any toiletries, including toothpaste, hair gel, lotions, perfume, deodorant, shaving foam, aerosols, etc
Any liquids, any drinks (The definition of liquids includes gels, pastes, lotions, liquid/solid mixtures and the contents of pressurised containers, e.g. toothpaste, hair gel, drinks, soups, syrups, perfume, deodorant, shaving foam, aerosols, gel pens, gel bras etc.)
Any sharp objects

* Please note BAA will now be allowing passengers to take solid cosmetics in hand luggage at their airports.
Oh jeez..

Warning for all those meeting Dyar..

a) he's going to smell (he'll kill me for that one...)
b) he will look scary without his make-up
c) he'll have droopy boobies without his gel bras

It's ok Graham, I already checked that you can take your gel bra on the tunnel. And I already told you you can share my make-up. :D

Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.
