Hi Linda, I am so sorry to hear about your hassles. I think it is awful that there are people who think they can just help themselves to other people's belongings.
Now then, are we going to find out what Joaquin did to deserve his hug?

And I guess, they can all find that out for themselves in Brussels, Joacquin..

Thanks everyone.
I am hoping that we have some kind of insurance to cover it but I think its unlikely as Mr Bunno left the car unlocked
He stopped at the local deli first thing in the morning and whipped in for 5 mins. His brother said that his daughter's phone was stolen from her bag when she was out and they were able to claim it on their home insurance. So we are hoping we can claim it either on our home insurance, on Mr Bunno's work insurance as hes covered while hes travelling to and from work or the lease agreement insurance (if there is any).

I'm really sorry to hear about your loss Linda, it's really appalling how people think they can just take what they like.
I hope you get some sort of compensation although it may not feel like much because our belongings are so precious.
Keep your chin up.....
Smurfy regards
Steve

The leasing compnay finally got back to us and they said there was insurance and gave us a number to ring to get a replacement from the supplier. They haven't asked for details about the theft or anything so we're still not sure if that will go through or not but at least it sounds like we will get a replacement laptop.

Linda,
I hope you will get it worked out soon....I was so sorry to hear about it, I know how aggravating that is ...
Where you able to change all the passwords in time?

hi Maureen,
Yeah they don't seem to have got into anything. The main one I was worried about was ebay as when we type the username in the little dots come up with the password already remembered and once you're in I guess you can change it to what you like.

Linda,
I am glad they didn't manage to do more havoc than they already did.
I think when you change your password on ebay, it asks you at least one security question, so that should be save, however, if they get to your account, they can cause you all kind of troubles, like posting auctions under your name or buying stuff under your name, so I am really relieved nothing like this happened to you.
