Just Like Belgium

HeyGuys

I have been relatively quiet and keeping to myself about my adventures in Europe....but there are some good stories to tell as always when you let an Aussie loose in Europe.

I first want to thank Christy and her parents (Duplo too) for allowing me to stay on the Belgium coast once again. There is no doubt that Christy and me have become great friends and I will say "stata zit" if they say anything nasty about her so make sure you never say a bad word about her to me or you will be very sorry. Ok, I have my languages mixed up but I think you know what I mean.

I have spent about 3 weeks here on the beautiful Belgian Coast and on Monday I have to leave to go walkabout somewhere else. I thought I would tell you a few things about my stay here since I haven't talked to many people on the forum since I left Sydney.

I arrived a few days before Passion and instantly reacquainted myself with the local area and local beers. I feel very much at home here and I have got to know many of the locals and quite a bit of the language....and not just the naughty words....but yeah....I kind of learnt those ones too.

I have travelled to quite a few places in Belgium but I also travelled with Christy's family to Euro Disney in Paris and I have crossed over the border into the Nederlands many times including a visit to Tintin's home and saw an amazing collection that makes mine look insignificant.....I visited Eugene's smurf museum in Nijmegen which is just as impressive and tomorrow I will go to the smurf fair at Utrecht....yeah Europe is pretty fucking cool.....oops...excuse my French as I am still learning.

I have become very good friends with Christy and her local friends here (Belgian women are crazy.....especially when drunk with a Meatloaf song...OMG  ) and I have become part of the family here. They have seen the best and worst side of me and they still welcome me back which I am very grateful for cos they know I love it here and will always try to come back again whenever possible.

There are at least 200 plus pics of me since I arrived here and no I won't be sharing them on the forum this time (you can relax everyone) or going into great details of what happened here like I did last October but needless to say it was an amazing adventure once again. The things I have seen and the things I have learnt will stay with me forever and I also want to thank Michelle, Veronique and Wim for last weekend in Gent as it was a great weekend for me.

On Monday I leave for a totally new adventure elsewhere and will probably get into the same amount of trouble but you can rest assure that I will be having just as much fun and getting into just as much trouble.

Just wanted to say thank you to everybody who has made the journey a success so far and a big thank you to Graham for the laughs at Passion....I miss ya mate :D and also it was great to have Moey over for a night and show her why I like it over here....me thinks she now knows why I like to visit Christy's house.

Take care and I will pop in here when I can

Dyar

Thanks everyone for the nice messages.

I almost missed my plane yesterday and they had to wait for me before taking off......but hey i was a little thirsty :-?

I touched down in London yesterday and I have now been to 7 different countries in the last 19 days......that's not a bad effort is it?

I am still missing my home in Belgium :( .....but Mum said I am a big boy now and I have to leave home......I wasn't even allowed to take Duplo with me :(

Beware people.....I may be knocking on your door next
