Hi everyone,

I am looking at starting my own web page, but when it comes to computing i`m a simpleton :(

I was hoping that one of you wonderful people on here might be able to give me some hints and tips on where to get started,on how to get a domain name, web hosting and anything else that is needed.

Any help/advice would be greatfully appreciated.

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter.

Hi Elvis, my main advice would be just to have a go. :-D

I would recommend having a look at Geocities to start with as it is free, they provide the software to build the site and even host it for you. It is just a case of signing up fo an account and starting to add info and pics. :D

Good luck with it Elvis :D

I use geocities, and if I can work it out I'm sure you will :)
I just have the basic free one, I haven't ran out of space as yet.
Although I haven't updated it for ages....... :???:

Hi Elvis

I also use yahoo geocities which is very simple. I hope you go ahead and have a site too as the more smurf sites the better off we are I believe.

Good luck
