Hi guys, sorry I've not been around much, I've not been feeling at all well for about a week, quite virally and achy..anyway, I noticed that I had some spots appearing on me..I didn't think I was re-visiting my teenage years, so I went to the doctors today...and she told me I have the Chickenpox :sick2: thank goodness I have a nice cuddly smurf to hug when I feel ill LOL (that makes me sound like a 5yr old)
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Oh no Steve...I have noticed you have been quiet and I am kind of ill as well so we both need to put our feet up and rest so we get better. You sound like you are sicker than me so I will type in the other direction so I don't get chickenpox and so you don't get what I have either.....could be fishpox maybe :-?

Get well soon my friend and until then.....let's check out ebay and see what will cheer us up or make us feel a little bit better today

On a brighter note....they have squirrels here too....first time since I was with you in London that I have seen them.....novelty still hasn't worn off.

Dyar

Oh, sorry to hear about your chickenpox Steve, not nice at all. You take care of yourself, relax and get yourself well again as soon as possible and DON'T pick those scabs.

Dyar, sorry to hear you are under the weather too, hopefully with a bit of a relax and a break from partying, you can be back to full strength to fight the fishy again. :winks:

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

Rach, who are you kidding? You know right well he'll never have enough strength to fight me  :) And if I keep drugging his root beer, he'll definitely not be able to:D

Thanks all, the spots are turning itchy now...must resist scratching..I acidentally popped one on my arm last night, so I'm gonna have a scar there now..yeah getting the pox as an adult is not nice at all..wish I'd have had it as a kid.

Hope you are feeling better soon too Dyar, speedy recovery thoughts winging their way to you

Sorry to hear you're all spotty Steve - It can't be much fun. I remember as a kid being coated in calomile lotion (no idea if that's spelt right) which was bright pink but helped to clear up the spots. Here in Germany they use something else which isn't pink but works too (it did on my kids anyway). I hope you get better soon :D
