I watched a short clip on "Marmite". Does anyone love it? Who hates it? I'd be very interested in your replies, since I haven't tasted it, yet.

Ooooh. I think Marmite is one of those things you either love or hate.

Me - I love it Especially in a cheese toastie - or straight from the jar

I'm a Marmite baby I've eaten it all my life & always bring four 500g jars back from Britain when I visit my family. They last a couple of months at least

When I was in New Zealand I found Marmite too but found that it tasted totally different As does Vegemite. But there's nothing better than Marmite / Vegemite on your toast in the morning

I don't like Marmite but I like Vegemite. I have to have it fairly thin on toast though. Its pretty strong tasting stuff.

Hi Yonna, it is a brown spread that you use on toast or in sandwiches or you can add it to hot water to make into a drink.

It has quite a strong taste hence why they use the "Love it or Hate it" slogan.

Yeap I'm in the ones that "like the Marmite" bag... My wife introduced me to it... the kids love it... we all love it...

It is an acquired taste though: Dominique, don't be surprised if at first, you look at it, smell it and think "I ain't eating that stuff!"...

Taste it.

Put it in the cupboard... forget about it.

Try it again later, much later... you'll see it will either grow on you and you will love it or you will hate it! There's no middleground though, it's usually one or the other! :):)

I love Marmite...but I like Vegemite more!!! Nothing like a bit on toast with melted butter...real butter that is!!!

Mind you...having been eating low carb/low fat/low fun for a few years now...it has been a while since I have experienced it!!!

But I can remember the taste...

It`s the growing up spread you never grow out of.

Marmite on hot toast,and lashings of it.

Oooooh I love marmite and vegemite too. vegemite is not as strong as marmite though..... Kim can't stand it so she don't let me near her when i've eaten it......
