Easter confuses me a little.

I think it is historically the most important Christian holiday.
But, I guess it's been secularized into a sort spring celebration (Rabbits, eggs, outdoor hunts).

I'm not religious, but actually feel a little bad for Christians about the rabbit side of the holiday. I mean, seriously, Easter is the Christian biggie, but it's been swept under the carpet, at least in the USA. Separation of Church and State arguments make sense, except the Federal Government recognizes Christmas, and every year tons of lawsuits break out over government offices depicting nativity scenes.

This doesn't happen at Easter, because nobody seems to remember what the hell it is..... When I was a kid, school let out on Good Friday, and it was called Easter break (it lasted Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun).

Now, it's funky-cool "Spring Break", synonymous with booze and umma-gumma.

I'd rather see a parade of honest Christians stumbling down main street than that bloody Wal-Mart rabbit hopping around.
