That's pretty cool Papa. I like the idea of getting some moulds even just for sitting on the shelf. They look really odd but interesting.

Nice item.

Maybe this is a daft question but once the mold has been injected, how do you get the smurf head out? There doesn't seem to be a way of taking the mold apart..... :-?

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

If anything it's a nice ornament? I also was thinking - How do yu get the actual mold out? All the same; it was cheap and unsual; $25

from the seller:
"I got the mold about 5 years ago from someone online. I know nothing about them!"

That's neat looking!

From the seller:

"It's probably around 3-4 lbs. I have no idea how you would get the mold out. I dont remember what I bought it for, it was awhile ago."

That's a very nice ornament then Papa. Not too expensive either and something that looks like a real collectible and I imagine looks awesome on the shelf next to your collection.

Thanks for sharing

I have just recieved this. I have to say it is really something awesome. It is definatly a mold and fits in the palm of your hand (the size of a Tennis ball.) - The insides are very precise and the outside ain't. I would live to know exactly what this is and how to use is? Please, please, please could someone find out?

Hi Raresmurf

this soounds to me like your rarest item !

and a wonderful piece for display!

why not try some cheap jello or plaster and try to make a mold?? to see what comes out??

it seems it would have to be done in two pieces??

The only thing I can imagine tha would go in here would be soft rubber so you can pull it out...breaking the mold is just impossible without damaging the in cast...

Hi raresmurf,

There is some rubber-like stuff that you can buy to make a mold with. I've seen it in those kits to make baby footprints and stuff. You put it over the foot and then peel it off and use that to fill up with plaster to make a cast. Maybe this stuff would be good to put inside, then peel out and pour the plaster in.

Have no idea what it's called. Maybe someone else will know.
