Anyone have a song that they play over and over at the moment?
I have a habit of playing a song I like over and over till I'm sick to death of it :-D

My favourite at the moment is "Little Wonders" by Rob Thomas, lead singer of Matchbox Twenty :smitten:
It's off the "Meet the Robinsons" soundtrack.

:band:

let it go,
let it roll right off your shoulder
don't you know
the hardest part is over
let it in,
let your clarity define you
in the end
we will only just remember how it feels

our lives are made
in these small hours
these little wonders,
these twists & turns of fate
time falls away,
but these small hours,
these small hours still remain

let it slide,
let your troubles fall behind you
let it shine
until you feel it all around you
and i don't mind
if it's me you need to turn to
we'll get by,
it's the heart that really matters in the end

our lives are made
in these small hours
these little wonders,
these twists & turns of fate
time falls away,
but these small hours,
these small hours still remain

all of my regret
will wash away some how
but i can not forget
the way i feel right now

in these small hours
these little wonders
these twists & turns of fate
these twists & turns of fate
time falls away but these small hours
these small hours, still remain,
still remain
these little wonders
these twists & turns of fate
time falls away
but these small hours
these little wonders still remain

I have actually been listening to a lot of Matchbox Twenty and Rob Thomas on my ipod while I have been away Rae...these have been great. I have not heard that Rob Thomas song Rae....any chance I could get a copy for maybe something else you don't have?

Other fav songs at the moment......hmm....Dar Williams "I'll Miss you Til I Meet You" and "Another Mystery" are great songs....Snowpatrol's "Chasing Cars", Counting Crows "Miami" and "Holiday In Spain"

...and a few others as well :D

Dyar

PS - I have a few Genesis live cds (homemade bootlegs) which are hysterical Graham.....Mr Collins can be a very funny bugger sometimes.....but musically they can also be very very good.

yeah, I don't mind that song either Raelene. I saw "Meet the Robinsons" with my sisters. Good kids film.

For me at the moment my favourite song to hear on the radio is Silver Chairs "Straight Lines".

Brad.

Hi Rae, I can't say I have a favourite song at the moment but I have one of my all time favourite albums in the car at the moment - Prodigy, Music for the Jilted Generation. :-D

I had to give one of my pupils a lift on Friday and it freaked him out that I was listening to it. :mosh:

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

I don't usually have a song that I play over and over again, it usually is more a CD, especially when I drive in the car and I am too lazy to put another in the player :D

I usually have one song though each day that I sing over and over again and just can't get it out of my mind.....The crazy thing is that I usually haven't listened to that song in a while, so I have no idea where that song comes from.... :-? Today it was Sammy Davis Jr's "What kind of fool am I?"....and I haven't heard that one in months... :-?

Uh, er, what's the deal with Phil Collins singing so many 1950s girl songs lately?

"You Can't Hurry Love"

And, something else... I think he even rehashed "My Boyfriend's Back And You're Going to be in Trouble"

Postby DrunkSmurf » Tue May 15, 2007 3:54 pm
I dusted off some old Led Zeppelin stuff the other day... but I guess it's Pink Floyd that plays the most in my head....

And, it's driving me insane....

Try sitting all day in an office with "Dogs" from Animals playing over and over....

Pink Floyd is one of those groups I adored in my early 20s and wish I could put behind me.... Like a friend of mine once criticized: "For a bunch of multi-millionaires: whah. Poor guys, exploited by the music industry."

I like some new stuff.... who's that guy? "It started with a kiss / It was only a kiss / how could it end up like this? / Now she's calling a cab / And he's... / Jealousy / Open up my eagle eyes!

etc

The Killers "Mr. Brightside" ... I love this one too :D

P.S. It's "eager eyes" ;)
