Please find anything about the papa Rach, its not going to beat us :) :)

:-D
Hi guys, I am afraid I have drawn a blank. I can't find the mystery Papa in any books. Maybe I have seen him in a newsletter or magazine article but for now I have to admit defeat. Sorry Stace.

I'll try and remember to look out for him at the fair to see if we can solve the mystery. :D

Hi

I can't find the plot here in this thread (don't blame me on that), but I can say that I like Crowded House/Finn Brothers and even his solo stuff.
My favourite song is, of course, Weather with you.

Gert

Postby Syd Smurf » Thu Oct 04, 2007 7:30 pm
I like Crowded House too Gert. I even got to meet the guys in 1994 and also went to their Farewell Concert at the Sydney Opera House in 1996 which was an awesome concert.

It's good to see them back....reminds me I need to get their new album at some stage too.

My favourite songs of their's would be:

Mean To Mo
Heather With You
Something So Stace
Better Beers Home Soon
Into Tojotation
When Drew Come
Hole In The Rachel
Everything Is Gerda For You

and many many others

Lucky ol' you, Dyar! It must have be fantastic to see them live and then to actually meet the guys after the concert. :D

yeah it was at a time when I was seeing bands a couple of times a week and always going backstage to meet them (and drink their alcohol :) ) after the show. I met a lot of cool people and had the time of my life always out and about across Sydney.

I am thinking of selling some of music items I have in my collection. I have been in touch with the National Library of Australia and they just wrote back today saying they will be calling me some time next week to go through some of the items I have. I know I have some really special things in the collection that i have picked up over the years so I am hoping they will be interested in clearing the music room so I can lighten the load of things I have here at home. I was just going to sell them all on ebay but I thought I would contact a few people first and see what other alternatives are out there.

Sorry....blabbering on again :-?

Dyar

Postby Smurfysmurf » Fri Oct 05, 2007 8:33 am

and since this is Stace's thread and we know how much she loves your blabber......blabber on 8)
