Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

Brazil Smurfs? I didn't get know there were smurfs made in Brazil :-?

Does anyone know anything about Brazil smurfs? Are they real smurfs or fakes? When were they made? Which smurfs did they make?

Oh I love smurf collecting, always so many questions :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

Hi Helen, I am afraid I don't know much about them as I don't actually have one yet. They seem to have appeared fairly recently and don't appear in the German katalogs, I would say this is due to the different Ebays around the world starting.

Sorry, I don't know if they were licensed or not but like you, love new discoveries and would love to know more about these. :D

Tine has quite a collection of them and made a list of the ones she has ....I only have the Papa one in a pretty bad condition, but I love him anyway... Here is some
information about them, I think :D

They are licensed smurfs...It is the same with Argentina minimodels...They both have the markings Schleich, and Peyo C...

There are another type of "fake" smurfs with markings Peyo OR, BY NOREL...I am not sure if they really are licensed smurfs...Does anyone know something about these ones???

I own the sign holder smurf (without sign or hole in his hand) with the NOREL marking and he is a mexican smurf. Attom once wrote something about them...

http://www.forum.bluecavern.com/viewtop ... ight=norel
all I found out from the seller is that a company named Norel
produced several smurfs in mexico, I have since found some others
but I assume from the quality, etc they were never licenced

@syd.... My originally thoughts were.... "he.. wow... there is a Hering smurf and nobody bid for that one. I can easily replace my badly marked Hering with that one". And then I got this one and it is a color variation. So my dear Dyar ...I'm still trying get some Herings for you... but not this time... :)
