Are you sure it's real and not painted by someone?
Since it's a baseball player, maybe it has something to do with the Pittsburgh Pirates or the Philadelphia Phillies but their logos are sligthly different.
I really hope there exists a smurf promoting the Cincinnati Reds!

But, as you said, those two teams have a slightly different "P"...
I have never seen any promo that looks like this, therefore, I would not pay a lot of money for it full stop and wouldn't bother even for 1 euro. That's just my opinion, and the only thing I truly know is that I don't know everything. ...not even close.
I personally don't think that hole belongs there or was ever intented to be in this smurf's head

To me it looks like the hole was made by someone, too sloppy to be made by the company, Most smurfs that have a hole are neatly done , on this if you look closly you can still see the shavings on the side. I would not go for it, sounds fishy!
