and just a reassurance that immediately after these pictures...all the smurfs and smurf related items were removed from the tree and are now at a safe place

Funny though, my cat never had a tree atraction like yours seems to have. Mostly he just had the bad habit of "peeing/marking" the presents, so we always had to keep an eye on him every time he got close to the tree - and "shoo" him away if needed.

You just have to teach him to stay away of that tree... and lock him out of the room when you're not present to help him learn.

PS - Wonder why I thought Mogli was a white cat...

oh Moey, that has given me the biggest laugh ever!!

Yes, being a cat lover, I do empathise entirely with you. I had a very naughty puddy called Chipper who use to do the exactly the same thing as Mr Mogli. In fact, the whole tree would be pulled down.

I love those pics so much, I have saved them on to my computer. So, whenever I am feeling low and in need of cheering up, I can just have a look at them and have another belly laugh, like just now.

Tinsel might actually do the trick..the reason I don't use that anymore is that it cost Paulchen nearly his life and cost me $700.00 to get it out of him again

Not sure about barbed wire (but might be worth a try)..Mogli isn't like other cats and might enjoy it though...He is the one cat that likes water..and even tries to join me IN the shower while the water IS running

Great suggestion with the barbed wire Tojo....I like your style. However you can probably still hang a cat with tinsel and with a lot less blood which is a lot nicer I think.

I still have no idea why your cat wouldn't come near me when I stayed over Moey
