Hi I'm new from this forum, I've recently got more interested in smurfs after spotting the Plastoy collection. In fact it was my mom who spotted them, and for this christmas, I've gotten her the smurfette and the lazy one. They represent my parents. And, so I've bought two smurfettes on ebay (buy now auction), the seller is speedking5. Has anyone bought from him in the past? I'm a little worried, since it took him 4-5 days to answer me for the cost of shipping and handling. And he hasn't even answered me how long it would take to arrive in Canada. I'm wondering if he's reliable or not? Feedbacks on this seller would be appreciated!

I haven't personally dealt with this seller but It looks like he isn't living up to his name 'Speedking', does it? I really hope you get your smurfs soon and you have no further problems.

Plastoys are awesome smurfs that we all love around here so we can fully understand how you felt......although I am hoping your Dad reminds you of the Lazy Plastoy and not the Smurfette

I have never dealt with this seller so I cannot comment either way. He does seem slow to respond but hopefully it will all work out for you....and with less time than it has already taken. It was a long time ago but I am sure I have bought from this seller with no problems. I have seen him around for a long time, it might have even been Plastoys I bought from them.

They really are lovely figurines and I am sure you will love them when they arrive.

Don't panic just yet, the seller might just be busy x-mas shopping or swarmed with work before the hollydays.
Check the seller's feedback on e-bay. Even if they're all in german (I doubt it) you can still see if he's got a few neutral or negatives... if only possitive you can relax a little.

This ain't the best time to buy online, since the post offices are full of ppl sending all sorts of stuff thru the mail.

Biggest scare I had since starting in the online auction buying, was last month, when I won 2 auctions from a seller. Only e-mail he sent me was the charge for the auctions plus porto. However, porto was in my opinion over charged by 4,6€, so I mailed him back for explainations. I never recieved a reply. After 2 or 3 days I decided to transfere the money to him anyway - cause I really wanted that castle (check the december competition )! I mailed him again and said I had transfered the money, even though he never replyed to me and that I would be very mad if the pack that arrived at my house didn't cost that extra 4,6Euro to send.
After a week, it still hadn't arrived... so I decided to check his feedback... he add 0 feedback, he was a new seller! I totaly panic at that point and wondered if I had sent money out the window.... A day later he had 1 possitive feedback... I relaxed a little.
But it took another few days for my pack to arrive. And yes I was right, he had overcharged in post! I was right about to write him back, again, complaining about the overcharge, when I decided to open the pack and make sure the castle was inside. To my suprise, the change of the post (4,6Euro) was inside the pack. As well as the castle. So I did gave him a possitive feedback, though I wrote about lack of communication.

I have dealt with them before and all worked out fine. Can't recall exactly what I bought buy I think it was 2 sets of feves.... I think the holiday's might have something to do with your smurf not arriving yet. things tend to be really slow now. I would not worry just yet!!

The seller's name is familiar and I think I have dealt with them before, too. I can't remember what I got, but that's a good sign, as I apparently didn't have any problems with them

I am sure your Plastoys will show up in time..Shipping from Germany can be very slow at times..I am still waiting for a package that was sent out early November..

I really do hope that it's just a matter of lack communication, and not a lack of reputation. It's quite a cute story Cassiebsg, he actually gave you the change in the package.

Well, I've bought them on December 16th, and he hasn't even taken my money yet Yes I did pay by paypal. So worst comes to worst, I can claim it. Btw, has your friend e-mail him to ask about the smurfs? Has he replied at all?

Hi gravity-girl

I dealt with this seller a few months ago, I purchased 3 Plastoys from him

I did need to chase him up as he took his time to send me an invoice.
He sent me one saying he had already done so but I didn't receive it the first time. I just forwarded my Paypal receipt to him and within 2 weeks my Plastoys were here. I think he sells a lot of stuff on ebay at a time, pages and pages of stuff so I think sometimes he is a bit behind

So hopefully yours will turn up soon
