Hi there.

Can you check your collections for me?

I have been going through my super smurfs and looked at the gardener guy.

I have the HK large mold with a brown wheelbarrow with the stickman logo W Germany. Does anyone own this piece? If so do they have a Hong Kong wheelbarrow or not??

Thanks for looking

Martin

The only whellbarrow I have is W.Germany, don't have the smurf to go with it though.

Hi Martin, I have a small mold gardner that I have had from the 70s with a brown wheelbarrow, the barrow has the stickman logo and W.Germany also.
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

I have two gardener supers, Martin. Both are the smaller mold but they have different shades of brown for the wheelbarrow - one is dark brown and the other is a lighter brown. They are both West Germany and not Hong Kong.

:D

Carry on Smurfin' - and have a Smurfin' good day!!!!

Hi, Martin!!!!I have a large mold smurf with HK markings too, but all the wheelbarrows are S.Emblem and WGermany...I have never seen a HK wheelbarrow...Is it possible the wheelbarrow belongs to playsets nr 40030???? :-? :-? :-? or perhaps as I told time ago, it happens the same than referee smurf: the smurf and its accesory have made in different countries :-? :-?

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

I have a damaged HK wheelbarrow but I have never seen another one out there so I have held onto it until I can replace it. I gather these are super rare as I have searched for a couple of years for one without any luck.....not sure I even remember where I got this one from originally.

Here's a pic of the HK combination

so after searching for this one 1/2 year I found finally my Hong Kong wheelbarrow.
My one is coming from the garden playset so I suspect that it was never released for super smurfs only for the playsets.

I'm happy to solved another secret....

Well done, Tine! That's good to know. :D

I found one of these last year on American ebay. It was with the large mold gardener but it was loose. The person who sold it I think was a collector.

I think you are right Tine that it comes from the playset.

I'm not even sure the gardener with super has a HK box. All mine have been Schleich W Germany boxes.

DOES ANYONE HAVE A HK BOX FOR THE GARDENER SUPER?????

Thanks

Martin

A really stupid question, but I don't know much super smurfs and their boxes yet.

What does a HK box look like?

Maureen the writing on one end of the box will tell you where it was made eg Wallace Berrie Van Nuys.....

Thank you, Martin.

Can you tell I haven't checked my supers too closely yet? I should finally be getting started on them this weekend..hopefully..unless the weather stays as pretty as it has been :-D
