Btw. I just happened to read those awful news on BVN video text. BVN stands for "Best of Netherlands and Flamish television".
That certain channel serves all Dutchmen and -women as well as Flamish people living abroad. It reads that there have been many complains on the smurfs in the Radar forum, since it turned out that these smurfs are very fragile and therefore it is very questionable to pass them over to children. Also this article states out that is series was released with a number of twenty-nine million smurfs.

Here is the article:

Christy has one postcard on ebay, I don't know if it's a real postcard or just a promotional card, but she told me there are various different subjects, and I would like to collect one for each different smurf pictured.

I think, it`s a lot of panic for nothing. Parents must understand that these smurfs are absolutely not suitable for very young children. But everyone can understand that ,when they see them. Keep the plush versions for the small kids and the rest for the bigger ones like we :)

I`m really happy that I could help and that everything arrived so incredibly fast in the USA!
I put a lot of free promo stuff in that box, but Staci paid for the plush smurfs ( they are NOT free!!) and for the shipping. So, please Sharon, don`t get upset...Everything went in an honest and fair way, exactly like it should be,ok?

Lia

Sorry for the confusion, ladies! The free stuff was the free brochures, stickers, and other paper items that Lia was able to pick up from AH :D And Lia did a fine job of getting 3 of everything that was available too! But people are selling the free items from the market on ebay too so :o :-?

I'm just glad that Lia and a few of our other generous members have gone out of their way to get items for members here and we don't have to rely entirely on ebay to find these cool items. I think that's the great thing about this forum -- we can find smurfs in our countries and offer them to other members that don't have access to such cool smurfs and help each other big time
