Are these considered promos?

As far as I know, these are Waldbaur raws..but how many more are there?

all of mine don't have any markings and are made of really soft (bully like) material

Do these belong to the series as well?

Hi Maureen, I think there are about 6 different ones..I've got a photo of the box somewhere that shows them..I consider them promos as they were an item given away with another product..I only have the tyrolese one

There are:

Jolly Smurf (red)
Digger Smurf (blue)
Shy Smurf (yellow)
Hammer Smurf (orange)
Biscuit Smurf (brown)
Tyrolese Smurf (green)
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Maureen,

These are Waldbaur Smurfs.

They came in an Egg Carton...11 Candy Eggs and one Smurf.

There are dozens of different Smurf Figures.

Rachel just sold (on Ebay) a Yellow Smurfette (I bid but didn't win) :( and she also sold a Red Jungle (I bib but didn't win) :(

I have a fairly complete list that I will post later.

Happy Smurfing, :dogrun:

Maureen,

Please ignore "They came in an Egg Carton...11 Candy Eggs and one Smurf." I was confusing Waldbaur with Kinder. When I try to do things from the top of my head, I do not do so well. :banghead:

Here is the right information for the Waldbaur Smurfs.

I am totally & utterly confused :o :-?

There are Waldbauer smurfs & Nestle smurfs but what's the difference?

Which smurfs belong to which set?

I only have the green mechanic so far but would like to get some more. Is he Nestle or Walbauer or both or neither or :? :)

yeahhh that's the problem... really nobody is able to remember how it was in the old days.
That's the reason why I always put Nestle/Waldbaur on the description for that promo raws

Postby Margaret » Tue Apr 08, 2008 8:23 pm
I am still trying to figure out how they came were they in the box with candy ?? :-?

Postby Simon X » Wed Apr 09, 2008 9:52 am
I don't own any of these Waldbaur/Nestle raws and don't really know much about them. So it was good to read something about them and to see the photo of the box (They wrote "Schlumpfe" instead of "Schlümpfe"!) , though the thing with Nestle and/or Waldbaur is not completly clarified... :???:

You're right Simon, I hadn't noticed that.

Funny thing....last night, I was reading the last of the SCCI letters I have, and Suzanne put some information about the Waldbaurs in there which is more like a list of Waldbaur smurfs and the picture that Steve posted..apparently there are more than those six as her list looks very very much like Alan's.

I don't know what Nestle smurfs are though? Are they raw smurfs, too with their faces painted? and do they have any markings?

Some of my raws have SChleich markings so I am not sure they are Waldbaurs as the ones, I am sure about to be Waldbaurs do not have any markings on them and are really soft, kind of like the Bully smurfs, which makes me think the Waldbaurs were never licensed by Schleich :-? But this is just me assuming things :-? :) :) :)
