Hi Gerda,

What is a president sticker button, sorry can't think what you're referring to, but I'm certainly intrigued now!

Here is a link to my buttons page, they are the second from the top. Found in cereal boxes back in the 80s. Instead of a metal pin in the back they actually have tape like a sticker backing.

Thanks!

it's funny because for the first time ever after I had smurf stuff arrive and I had things sitting out wondering where to put it all I had a moment where I looked at Robert and said "I got alot of smurfs and how did it get so bad" Of course it was a very short lived moment and I have since come to my senses.. so glad that did not last long :)

I know the feeling Gerda. For the past 14 or so months all of my smurf figures have been packed away. I have been packing up the rest of the smurf items over the past month thinking that it wouldn't take long to pack the remaining.

However behind every wardrobe door or in every box, appeared a billion more smurfy items.....aaarrgghhhhh. :banghead:

On the bright side, I do think to myself, at least I don't have to pack up a collection like Gerda's.......cos men don't live that long.

Sorry, this made me laugh :) :) :) :) Amazing isn't it what one can amass in no time at all..

I have to admit, my stuff is mostly in boxes, too....although looking at the few things I kept outside, you'd think I live in an 80s toyshop :) :)

Alot of my stuff is in boxes too, When I started pulling out my smurfs for display several years ago and found ebay at the same time I told myself I would only put out the few things I buy on ebay. Well that did not happen as the few things turned into way too many to put out in a normal house. I found rubber maid containers to be the best, Clear ones. Then I can keep like things together and see what is in them. Most of my items are on shelves by the basement steps with only a few things up in the attic. My books and such I keep in those keeper folders (the thingys with the rings and it has a zipper like a binder.. boy my brain don't want to work today) I have them in protective sleeves stored safely in there. So even though most of my smurfy items are not seen when you walk in the house I do have everything where I can find it. (most of the time, you know how smurfs can be, some tend to play hide and seek on you and they are a pain to find)
