I had a check on three websites for this super smurf but didn't find it, which convinces me that it doesn't exist.

Does anybody know if and what smurf was intended for that number and why the number was left out? :-?

Or does the super smurf exist? But then which one is it? :?

Everything I've seen suggests that Schleich missed out some numbers and nobody knows why. Or maybe they just haven't issued them yet? :-?

Various theories exist for this phenomenon

One answer is that 4.0244 multiplied by pi (3.141) is the exact factor in size that Gargamel is larger than the smurfs and thus this number is considered very unlucky by the smurfs and they refused to pose for this model.

Second theory is this is the price in smurf dollars that the smurfs demanded for modelling for this piece but so far they have priced themselves out of the market. Their talent agent is still trying to negotiate a better deal.

The third and most convincing theory for me is that, as we already know the smurfs exist in a parallel universe. To travel to this parallel universe one must attempt it at warp factor of 4.0244 (it is an exacting science). The problem exists that each time the willing smurf appears in our reality it is immediately whisked off back to its home universe. It is very disconcerting for the participant so therefore after years of trying they just gave up.

Yes I know what you are about to say.. I was up all night worrying about all this and wondering if I should tell you all. I feel I can only reveal the above facts if you agree that it be our little secret. 8)

ps. In the few occasions above (just three in fact) where I didn't know the facts, I just made them up!

One requires a fertile imagination for my job too! Unfortunately when people ask me why is my work late, my audience hasn't been quite as accommodating!

We're lucky to have you here Daryl......I never thought of those reasons but I think you may be correct about the parallel universe theory.

I do have some info on the missing numbers but I don't have them with me over here in La La Land. When I come across them next....may be in my next life.....I will definately let you know if I have any info regarding the mysterious identity of 40244 which is also my ATM pin number.

Dyar

PS - Stace just said I should deny that 40244 is my pin number so I am denying it ok

PPS - Is that better Stace?

PPSS - Apparently she just had to pop out to the bank so I will ask her again when she comes back

Oh shucks guys... I'm known as the strong silent type..

<#include shy_bashful.h>

:streamer:

If anyone is watching the TV show "Lost" I think a further theory is that 40244 is Hurley's magic numbers that keep cropping up... they will lead one of us to win a lottery, get marooned on the island of the lost Smurfettes before being committed as slightly nutty! :!:

As usual you're way ahead of us Daryl! :grinning:

Thank You Daryl, you have just reminded me why I need to pop in here more often! :sofunny:

Dyar, you know you have just denied this being your ATM number, does it count if I had already written it down? :!:

Hope you are behaving and not getting too many finslaps. :mosh:
