Since I couldn't find a help forum... I think I'll post this here.

A couple of days ago I received an email that someone sent me a private message on this board. It was late at night so I thought... I will check it the next day.

However when I checked my inbox... the PM had disappeared like a star sucked beyond the event horizon of a black hole.

Anyone knows what the reason for this is? Did the sender delete it, or is it a common problem here?

Only if I sent it (I had to say or Stace would have )

I didn't in your case, Tijn, but Beers is right ..the pm disappears if the sender deletes it before you open it
