Looks great Maureen, I think I'll have to order one of those
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

It sounds very interesting, unless they pull out the golden smurf as the previous web site.

I agree with Paolo. If the golden smurf is included then I'm going to be interested too. The set looks very good.

@Maureen: Just a short intermezzo, since I have to hand in another paper in one hour, would you be so kind and order a set for me, if that Golden smurf is going to be part of it? May I pay you in September?

@Tojo: Would you help me out with paypal, please? I haven't got an account, but I promise to pay you in September.

@Mo &Tojo: Just pm me for

This is why I wait until September before I order them :winks:
I figure with 25000 of them out there, they won't be sold out anytime soon :) :)

If these are sold as this set, this will be a very nice lot...the other site mentioned a plush with DVD will be released in October, and it looks like this will be the set :-D

Why is the draft by Peyo of the original smurfs reversed in the picture here from the one you can find on the imps web site?

Postby Gerda » Fri Jul 25, 2008 6:10 am
Where these shown on tv?

I will be waiting too just to make sure they don't pull a switcharoo like the other site did.

Thanks for posting.

This is then a 3rd gold smurf, the one Maureen had for summer comp as guitar smurf; the gold with with a flag the supermarkets were giving out and now this one...

Postby Gerda » Sat Jul 26, 2008 6:29 am
I see it requires batteries :-? I'm guess that is for the plush, wonder what it says. this makes it more interesting.

From what they show on the video it plays the smurf song. I haven't watched the whole thing, so I am not sure if it also says anything :) :) :)

talking plush, nice. They look good.. they sort of look like they've taken the PUPPY made plush and re-made them?? The smurfette looks cute. The anniversary set looks great with the golden smurf! Looks like they've changed the 50th logo though. I hope these are released in shops in Australia. We've had all the care bears anniversary items so I don't see why they wouldn't.

Brad.
