I had a good time in Germany and got to do all I set out to do including taking a busload of pictures, a few of which I will post a bit later today.

In regards to smurfs it was a huge success and I got some outstanding deals

I missed everybody on here and it took me a few hours just now to catch up on everything It's good to be back

I took a million pictures but won't bore you with all of them. I can't help sharing a few though.

We went to the Zoo in Stuttgart, the Wilhelma, which isn't probably special at all, but will always be for me, since I always go there when I am in Germany, and spent a lot of my childhood there. Actually, some of the animals grew up "with" me
I had to say "hello" to the ice bears, of course



and we were just in time for the feeding of the sea lions



I spent a lot of time at the Christmas market which is in the middle of Stuttgart...Here are a few pictures of the booths, the decorated roofs..and also of Stuttgart










We also went to Switzerland, because I wanted to see real mountains again...the only thing was...the mountains decided to take a hike that day....They were hiding behind the grey/white in the background in Luzern on the pictures.




I will show the smurfs in another thread once I sorted them out

Welcome back. I must say that it's too cold in Germany right now and dark all day so it's probably not as nice as you think it would be.

It was very cold last week . I spoke with Granny today and she said they had at least 30 cm of snow, so I am kinda glad I left last week.

Of course over here we are getting swept away by flooding downpours of rains
