I asked one lady and two guys, the one Robert talked to when I wasn't around was very helpfull and excited about the smurfs too, guess I just have that crazy lady look about me when I ask people

yup probably, I can actually see me walking out of the store with a cart full of smurfs too fingers crossed it's soon as I'm getting very antsy to find them in stores.

Well even if you do ask the employees, Gerda, you could still get the response "Smurfs??" Dyar and I asked the first Target we went to if they had any more in the back and the girl looked at us oddly and said "What are smurfs?" So we pointed to the huge amount of smurfs in the cart and she said "oh, don't know what those are." But she pointed her little pricing gun at them and it pulled up how many total were in store and yes, we had the total amount. I think (like Brad said...I think it was Brad at least or maybe Bill) that they may short stock to start with and only have a limited number in the stores. None of the Targets we went to had the Papa Houses or even a tag for them so I have a feeling those weren't even delivered to our stores yet. When we went to Walmart, there were no empty spaces or places for smurfs to go which gives me a bad feeling! I will still check there next week as it's easier to drive over there than to hold on the phone forever waiting for someone to answer you question with Walmart

Whenever I ask if they have any Smurfs......they all think I say "Do you have any smokes?"....this isn't just an accent thing cos it happens back in Australia too.....um, maybe it is an accent thing then.....since they don't think I sound like an Aussie back there either

These days I make Stace ask, cos I just can't seem to emphasize the "urf" part enough for people to understand I want bloomin' smurfs....not smokes. Worse still if I ever come across any Mexican employees as they just look at Stace and say "I can't understand him". Then again I can't understand why a woman would want to go to the bathroom in the gutter outside our work after just being thrown from a moving vehicle......I guess some Mexican people just need further study......from a safe distance.

I went to target again today to see if they have the three talkin Smurfs with DVD's I couldn't find the Smurfs. Well finally I did I'm not sure if they moved them or I was just confused about where they were. I vote for the latter.

Yay! I got me some Smurfs today at Target!
These were the last three Smurf houses on the shelf. I got all that there
was in the figure sets too. I tried to get 2 of each but there was 2 of the
figure sets missing but that just gave me a reason to go back and get
some more. I don't know how many Smurf beanies are there but I found
4 different ones and decided to get an extra Smurf beanie. Overall, I went
into Target with my fingers crossed hoping they had some and they did.
Seems to me these new line of Smurfs are selling really good.

Good Haul there Smurfsterocks. That gives me hope to finding the three houses also. I will be going to Dallas Texas next month maybe I'll get lucky there also.

I agree, I think the smurf line is selling well. My mother went to Target today and promised to look for smurfs, and she claims she didn't find any She probably only looked wrong though

Smurfysmurf, I got the same reaction when I told the lady at the register
that I wanted the display box. She was like... "You want the box?" I
said; "Look at all the Smurfs I'm buying you think I don't." LOL

I'm gettting doubles of everything so I might be opening them just to get
the feel and maybe display them somewhere in the house. The plastic
that contains them in their packages are pretty hard, and nicely made.

robert came home with smurfs for me last night I have that little car too. He said they must have just put them out because nothing was missing fromthe shelf. He was even nice enought to get me the display box for the beanies.

Awww how sweet of Robert! I totally forgot the cars were coming out too!! I may have to go out tonight instead of waiting until this weekend to pick up more smurfies. Anyone that I am already getting smurfs for, do you want the cars too? (What a stupid question, I know )
