I don't think Walmart has the display boxes for the playsets. None of mine (I checked at least four) had them in the boxes, only the plushes were in the LaLaLa boxes.



Smurfsterocks, I don't think it's released yet. I checked on Saturday and didn't see them at Walmart. I agree, it would have been much better if they had been released together...well...for my purse it's better this way

Thanks for the info Smurfysmurf, I too think they should had release
them together, just makes more sense.

P.S. I don't think I mentioned this my 2 Walmarts that had the Smurfs on the cards took them out of the boxes and just put them on the shelf. I guess they just threw them away.

Funny you mention that bwalters, I recall when I went to the second
Target to get another set of those Carded Smurfs, I had ask a Girl in the
toys department if they had anymore in stock and she told me no, but she
also told me that I wasn't sopposed to take the display box (of course I
was carrying it in my hands) and that they needed it to refill the same
Smurf toys. So I am wondering maybe this is why the carded Smurfs
were on the shelves only?

First off what do they expect to refill it with if they don't have anymore. Secondly What better place to find it than on the shelf. Instead of stuffed in some corner in the back where no one can find it. I can't be sure but I think they were trying to save space. Don't know why though they had plenty of shelf space desigenated for them. I didn't ask any questions but no one said anything about the box I took. That was at Target though. Maybe diffrent rules.

Has anyone found that Smurfette with Vehicle yet?
They should had put those out with the Smurf Vehicle.

Thanks to Staci!!!! My set of the 5 beanie smurfs arrived today! They are really nice actually, I was very pleased with them. Favourites are Grouchy and Vanity. I hope they add more smurf characters to this line of plush! I'd like to see Hefty and Handy and Brainy! The quality and material are made like the "puppy" made plush! Excellent! I'd take a pic but its too hot here so I'm sat under the air-conditioner. Thanks again Staci!

Oh, I didn't listen to that Girl at Target who told me I couldn't take the
dispaly box, when I got to the cashier they just put the display box with
the carded Smurfs in the bag. That's how I got 2 display boxes now.

Now I got to see when my Sister can go to Walmart and find that
Smurfette with vehicle for me. Thanks for the info and pic Bradley!

Robert hasn't let me set foot in a store since these came out so I still have not seen them on the shelves myself. But I have a list for him here and I added her to it

I think we are just going to have to make a run for it.. or in my case wait until Robert is sick of shopping.
btw, he just called and the smurfette is not yet in our stores, aparently he checked before I even had a chance to ask him, years of training has paid off

something tells me I wont be getting it back until the smurfs are gone off the shelf, , too bad the smurfs arent' in my grocery store... which is funny actually as last time I was grocery shopping I was standing in front of all the gummy bears and I saw transformer, care bear and strawbery shortcake gummies and I was thinking how nice a box of smurf gumies would look next to all those.

I am sure we are about to start seeing the onslaught that we have been talking about for the last 5 or so years.

I am thinking they will have Smurf showbags again at the Sydney Royal Easter Show once the movie comes out.....why can I see myself going there and then leaving with about 50 or more smurf showbags. Who's gonna look like the escaped lunatic then? Well.....still me, but I will be the first to explain that I am not alone in this crazy universe.

I checked all three of my walmarts today and target none of them had the Smurfette car. I did notice that target did refill the box with the plush smurfs I was going to buy the whole thing last week and decided to let it get a little lower on them now its full again.

yeah for the moment they are sitting on top of the cabinets. They do look good up there. I painted a feature wall behind my cabinets a few weeks back, that dark blue. My collection contrasts really well against it. And spent last weekend moving my display around. I'll have some updated display photos soon for the new forum section.

I love the accent wall - that is an excellent idea too. I like the beanies on top of the cabinets as well

Those beanies are pretty small compared to plushes, they should fit
anywhere but they do look good sitting on the edge of the cabinet.

I thought I'd be disappointed with their small size but they are perfect!
