They are fun to play with too...you pull the car back and it goes forward really fast!! Dyar and I had to stop racing the smurf and smurfette cars in my kitchen though because they kept hitting things and we didn't want to break them immediately

I was wondering if anybody has seen the new playsets out yet.

I have been to four Walmarts in my area, three of them had smurfs, but only one of the three had the smurfette cars, so I really think this one may be rarer than the others. None of the Walmarts had the new playsets though.

The good news is that the smurfs seem to sell All three Walmarts were pretty much sold out of the playsets

I have not even seen the new smurfette vehicle yet. but I know you guys where seeing smurfs in the store before I was so i'm not panicing just yet (i'll let you know when I start )

Hey gang...I don't post here much, but I wanted to let you all know that the new figures are showing up. I was at my Walmart today (in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania), and they had Smurfette/Vanity, Cook/Greedy, Hefty, and Farmer. I think the only one they were missing was Baby/Lazy.

I wasn't going to collect these, but I had to get the Hefty (I'm a gym rat). I am disappointed that the figure lacks a tattoo (even though it's specifically mentioned on the back of the box!), but otherwise, I think these figures look better out of the package than in.

Congrats on getting those Play Along Smurfs, Wakko and Cool Smurf!

My Sister went to the WalMart in Maryland today and found the last 2
Smurfette Vehicle on the shelf and they didn't have any of the new
Smurf items. (She sent me a picture of the Smurfette's Vehicle, LOL)
We will be going to the WalMart here in NY next weekend when she
comes to visit. I am hoping to find the new Play Along Smurfs and
hopefully the Windmill as well.

Great job Smurfsterocks sister. Congrats on getting the car Smurfster. I checked my walmart yesterday, but they didn't have anything new. I went because I saw a truck pulling in on Thursday and I though they might have put them out by then. I would almost bet that they are in the backroom but to the stockers they just know that the shelves have a lot on them so they haven't put the new stuff out. I will ask next time I am there.

Bill, I am not sure if they have them in the stock room...I only found the smurfette in one of my Walmarts so far, even though the shelves in all of them were half empty and could have used some restocking

Hi Moey; You may be right, but when the one that I got mine at first got them I pretty much cleaned the shelves of everything but the plush you can get at toys r us. Now they are full again. Maybe they reordered who knows.

My mother just called me and said she found the smurfette with vanity at the Walmart in Kimball (TN/AL border) but none of the other new ones .

I have a feeling these thingies are selling better than we at first thought they would

I think you are right Moey. The Walmart that I bought all of my playsets and houses has restocked all the stuff. I only left two houses a two cars. There are lots of houses and playsets now I only bought three of the plush benies there the rest came from Target. I have three walmarts in town and only two of them are carrying them.

Seems like the new line of Smurfs are doing pretty good being sold at
Target and Walmart. This is just the beginning, if they are just that hard
to find now with a few quantities on the shelves, wait till the Smurfs
Movie gets release, they will be harder to get as the new and old
generations will be buying these Smurfs everywhere.

When I bought the smurfette in the car, two children were standing in line before me and were very very fascinated by the smurf on the box and couldn't take their eyes off it.

I also noticed that whenever I bought the smurfs, the cashiers usually start a conversation up about how they remember the smurfs as well and loved them. So far, I haven't had any "odd" comments..not even when I bought two of the stores out

Oh...I got extended cable service this weekend and was surprised to see that the smurfs are still on Boomerang...I have to admit I didn't watch it but it was nice to see them in the program guide

That's great Smurfysmurf! I am so anxiously waiting to get my hands on
those new ones. (especially the Hefty Smurf)

I don't want to sound greedy or be like Greedy Smurf, LOL...
but I am trying to get 3 sets of each for myself, 2 to have and 1 to open.
Is anyone else here doing the same? or close to that? or way beyond that?
Gets a little pricy trying to get more than just one set when there's more
related items coming out.

I am slowly working my way on getting a second set of them and of course my first set of the second set. I told myself that I can get me one with each paycheck (bi-weekly)

I think I will like the new ones even better ... I always liked Farmer and Hefty looks cute as well, as does Baby

It's just so nice to go into a store and actually find smurfs...and cute ones at that, nothing like the Irwin smurfs from the 80s. It nearly feels like being in Europe

I don't think many of the clerks that I have dealt with have mentioned much. Most of them look surprised that I am buying them though. Especally in such large lots.
