We found a few of the new sets today in lower Delaware (I was technically working but had to stop at the Walmart downstate on my way home to check). I got one of each of the new ones except Baby and Lazy which were not there. I asked one of the workers who was lurking nearby if there were anymore in the back but he just stared at me and said Um......no. Somehow I don't think he really knew! Anyway, interesting enough there is a different display box too. It is the size of the plush box but looks like the smaller blue box that the playsets are in. Dyar has taken photos already and when he uploads those, I will post them here to show the new one.

Hi Staci; Great Job. I know that Smurfette and Papa are the most popular. If you look at the shelves they will be the one's that are either not there or they have less of them.

My mother just called me and said she found the smurfette with vanity at the Walmart in Kimball (TN/AL border) but none of the other new ones .

Well, Mum showed me what she got and it was the smurfette with the vanity table...which shows..never let your mother buy your smurfs..

Well, it is still early on the releases. You can always get the Smurfette and
Vanity Smurf in the furture.

Anyway, interesting enough there is a different display box too. It is the size of the plush box but looks like the smaller blue box that the playsets are in.

You can't really tell the size different since it's not next to the smaller box but here is the new plush box - notice the inside is green.


The smaller playset box has a blue inside:


I will see if I can get a photo of them next to each other so you can see the differences.

My Dad just bought me the Papa Smurf with his Lab figure, so I opened all of my figures, and placed them inside and outside their houses.

Not down here......I went to 6 Walmarts, 2 Targets, and 2 ToysRUs today and only found the old stuff and none of the new

Well, I did get my Smurfette Cars from my Sister but no luck in any
other Smurfs. Shelves at Walmart and Target were basically emptied.
I have no worries, I know I will find them.

It looks like the first set was sent to the Walmart stores, and now it's up to the individual stores to order more. Once they realize that the smurfs actually sell they'll order more...I am sure as soon as that happens we are all able to find everything
The thing that confuses me is why they aren't available from Walmart online

I just got a set of the new ones in the mail from a friend in Iowa. I love the fact that the new set has different smurfs on the back so you can easily tell which ones came with the first "wave" and the second. I don't like that they seperated greedy and cook and by the looks of it "cook" aka greedy has slimmed down from his cartoon days. I also wonder why these two have there eyes closed.. are they on some blind taste test?

I think it was mentioned that hefty no longer has his tattoo, sad day for the smurfs.
