Actually, I wasn't thrilled myself with the initial picture, but once you have it in hand it is very adorable. :D

indiana jones also had a bunch of these, from what I have seen those don't sell to well as there where always plenty of these figures on the shelves. wonder why they decided to get a smurf figure in there?

BTW.. for those of you who have found it in the toys r us stores, where are they on the shelves? do they put them with the other smurf toys or are they somewhere else?

I went by toys r us yesterday. The have added the three houses but nothing more. My nephews wife is a manager there and I talked to her. She is going to try to get me anything else she can get. She said her boss goes to Kansas City once a week to pick up new stuff she will have him see what they have. Hopefully they will come up with something. BTW she didn't recongnize me at first. I used to have a beard and it threw her.

Thanks Moey; Have you found them down there yet? The one I found mine at I think the girl had just put them there about 10 minutes ago. You should had seen the look on her face when I bought them all. I even took the Smurfette with vanity they had. They were in the walmart that I didn't buy out the first night. When I got done tonight the one I bought all of them at had only two Smurfette houses and 5 cars. Plus alot of plush smurfs. I still don't have the box for the plush Smurfs yet, but I will get it.

No, not yet, Bill. The playsets seem to be selling well as it's always the houses and plushes that are left over :-?

I think they sell better because they are cheaper than the house or plush, and the plush you can't really do nothing with where as the figures you get more out of them.. just my guess :-?

I asked my cousin to search for the new ones for me too -- her and her sister went to all the Walmarts in Delaware and one in Pennsylvania too. I heard the stories today from both of them (I only thought my one cousin was searching, not two). Apparently my cousin Nicole found the new sets in a Walmart but didn't buy them...instead she HID them in another section of toys so that my other cousin Antoinette could go in later and buy them for me. Nicole was afraid someone would come along and buy them. But Nicole is taller than her sister and she hid them on a top shelf behind a bunch of toys. Antoinette showed up later and called her saying "I can't reach them!!" She had to use other toys to jump and bat them off the top shelf. If Walmart has security cameras they were either peeing their pants laughing or just really really scared at this set of seemingly smurf-crazy sisters :) :-? :) :hyper:

That is pretty funny...what some Italian non-smurfers will do to get some smurfs

That calls for five years of free taxes

Wow, I've been busy for a while and look what happens, LOL!

Congrats Bwalters on finding the new Play Along Smurfs!
I have had no luck finding those myself.

Gerda,
Not old not new? not white not blue? That cannot be true.
You know there's more than one WalMart, maybe two. (LOL)

Funny story eggie smurf, That had to be hilarious to watch.
