Well after all the sweat after the fight I finally got a couple of pic's I don't know how well you can see the diffrence in them it is not a huge diffrence. You can feel it more than see it. They are softer.

That's interesting Bill. It's more noticeable on the photo of the hats. I think I'll stick to PVC variations though

I was trying to trick Max by useing his benie Smurf, but he was too smart to fall for that. Bet you can't tell which one is Max's. You can really see the diffrence in the materal in this one.

OMG Brainy and Jokey beanies!!!! I want!! That is a surprise. Considering the details Gerda found the other day say a Hefty and Painter smurf beanie in wave 2.. Don't know why they have to re-release smurf, smurfette and I'm guess there was papa there as well Bill? They should make 6 new beanies.. do they think no one will buy them if a papa or smurfette aren't in the box. They'd be the more popular characters though. Hope we see more beanies in the future and very happy with a Brainy smurf one!! Thanks for posting Bill.

Hi All; I gotta admit that I haven't been really looking for benies so they might have been there for awhile. I think these were all that was left and the painter and hefty ones were gone. I was just kind of counting them when I saw the jokey and brainy. @Gerta the box was taller and wider than the other one. I actually took it to the register the girl took the Smufs out and put the box on the floor. I didn't ask for it.

I was at one of my Walmarts last Saturday and they only had the "old" beanies. I can't wait to see the new ones though.

Just so you know I got the two at Target. I did check one of the Walmarts last night they didn't have anything new. I will keep my eyes open though.

I went to Target about two days ago and couldn't find the new beanies, so I got myself a second Vanity one.

I found the Brainy and Jokey beanies at one of my Targets today..only one of each though but lots of the others (older ones) .

They apparently also got a new shipment of the playsets in, as they had two boxes full (no new Display boxes, Gerda...it was the blue one )

Those are the same two that I got. The box that they came from was pretty full. So maybe they are just putting a couple in each box. It will be intresting to hear what everyone else finds.

we just looked at two different targets and they did not have them. Both stores only had about 4 beanies in a box so they did not restock in awhile

Check again next week, Gerda. Mine didn't have them last week and was pretty much sold out on stuff, and from the looks of it yesterday, the bigger Target had just gotten a new shipment in.

I received the 50th Anniversary plush the other week thanks to Bill! The set is really nice so I'm happy to finally have one of these. I really like the new style plush. Still waiting to see more of the smurf toys in Australia. Myers now have the 6 figure sets like Toys R Us have. Strange they haven't placed all the range out all at once... and no promotion for them. I keep checking the toy catalogues but no smurfs.. although a have a clipping out of a kids magazine, which shows the beanies. Forgot about that. My brother saw it and ripped it out of a magazine. Have no idea what magazine though. Probably K-Zone or Disney Adventures something like that.
