Yeah it is out on the Wii also..it's the whole Playstation vs xbox debate..Sony are trying to get one over on microsoft by securing the game for it.
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

I've got Ghostbuters on Xbox mate and I'm from England. It's region free and I got it off ebay for 40 quid.

Plus, it's BRILLIANT!

Also, Ghostbusters 3 will actually have all the cast. It is written by Ramis and Ackroyd and also the guys that write the American Office. They say the girl from SNL is in it as well, but I don't remember her name.

Also, we can obviously put money on a (rubbish!) Smurf game as it's SONY.

Wolverine Director of Photography Signed on to Smurfs

Director of Photography Donald McAlpine (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Moulin Rouge) has just been signed on as the first addition to the Smurfs production team since director Raja Gosnell (Scoobie Doo) was tapped in early July to helm the picture. Smurfs is due to be released Dec. 17 2010 in 3-D and 2-D format and is expected to begin production this Fall.

McAlpine and Gosnell worked together on Mrs. Doubtfire and Nine Months but this will be McAlpine's first time working with Gosnell as director.

oh dear... what we feared the most.. it sounds like the smurfs are being updated into our timeline.. casting news below for a little girl and boy with some plot details about the movie:

Armchair Casting Director: 'The Smurfs Movie'

The A.C.D. is taking a rare detour to movieland to bring you exclusive scoop on (natch) The Smurfs Movie – specifically, details about the two lead roles currently being cast. Beware, the following info contains plot spoilers...

SOPHIE: A pre-teen girl who possesses enormous smarts and great imagination, but who is socially and physically clumsy. She discovers that the doll her dad brought home from Belgium is actually a living, breathing Smurf. And not just any Smurf -- Clumsy Smurf! Sophie tries to get her mom and dad to embrace Clumsy as a member of the family, but ultimately realizes what he really wants is to reunite with his fellow Smurfs.

SAM: Sophie's 15-year-old brother. He's a good kid, but has a tendency to be difficult and withdrawn. He gets involved in helping Clumsy return home and, as a result, bonds with his sister.

Sounds like the movie will be less about the smurfs than the two kids

I got a insider tip that Matthew Broderick, James Caan, and Dakota Fanning have been confirmed for The Smurfs Movie what roles they have been casted in weren't giving the movie is still in the casting phase with filming to begin in new york this fall.

I'm guessing

Matthew Broderick-Hefty Smurf
James Caan-Papa Smurf
Dakota Fanning-Smurfette
