I hope this isn't bad news for Walmart and the Smurfs. I went to both of my Walmarts today to see what I could get. The first Walmart I went to when I walked to where the toy dept was it was gone. I looked around a bit and found three shelves of toys all on clearance. Of course there were two Smurf items on those shelves 1 benie (dirty but only $2.50) 1 playset for $3. I finally found the toy dept in the back of the store, but no Smurf stuff. I went to the other Walmart and they didn't have anything on the shelves that were Smurfs, not even any stickers on the shelves. I finally found the Clearance isle and there they were. Three Smurf cars for $9 each and two play sets for $3 each. I got Smurfette (vanity table Harmony (insterments and Poiet and Smurfette and 1 car if anyone is intrested. At TRU I found they had restocked the new Smurf packs. I have 2 bakery 2 picnic 1 beach 2 extreme sports 2 sports 2 band if anyone needs them.

Ha, ha, That is funny.
Maybe next time you show up at the same Toys R Us they'll say;
"Pssst... There goes the Smurf Lady, Yay!" LOL!

When I walk in to TRU there are a couple of people that say something when I come in. My neice isn't one of them, and I don't buy anything close to that. They don't have that much stuff for one thing. I wish my Target would carry as much as yours seems to Moey.

I feel the same way about the Target I go to but I really can't tell if the
Smurfs are flying off the shelves or they're not putting enough of it out.

Actually, Bill, my Target doesn't have any of the new ones yet...Toys R Us has been awesome with new items everytime I go..Yesterday they had the Handy and Baby beanies...I think they had two of each...they no longer do

Yeah...I am known as the "Smurf Lady" or "Package Lady" depending who you ask..My postal office loves me as well...They keep telling me to come back and I do :)

Bill, If all the walmarts are the same as he one that I talked to then they are setting up for christmas and getting rid of old stock before setting out new stuff. The toy lady said there was new stuff in the back but nothing was being set out :banghead: sounds like our little smurfs have to wait

The Targets and Walmarts around here are really bad on this second wave too -- we have to check out TRU tonight too. I haven't seen the handy, baby or jokey beanies anywhere yet :banghead: Hopefully that will change soon though :D

Isn't this the third wave if you count just the figures? I never payed much attention to this sort of thing but I know that star wars toys came out in waves too, I'm learning as I go :) :)

That is correct Gerda, the new figures just release are the 3rd wave.
Wether it's Waves or Series after a while it does become confusing.
If you don't keep up, it is easily to loose track. Glad you're learning.

There are some great pictures on here :-D

I've come to all of this a bit late and so this is a bit of a plea and a beg.. :fingersx:

I really want to get get hold of some of the larger sets. The smaller bits I've managed to pick up while on my travels - but the larger bits wouldn't fit in the suitcase :scratchinghead:

So if anyone could help out with shipping to the UK, I'd be very very grateful :D I especially like the themed sets and the windmill (oh heck - I like them all.....)

Thanks
Cathy x :cat:

I can help, Cathy if you aren't in a hurry as I won't get back to Chattanooga for a few weeks and we haven't had the new houses yet.

Are you interested in the three "old" houses and the cars besides the new stuff?

Definitely not in stores yet but I wonder if they'll make a smurfette or other characters :-?
