Hi guys,

I just came across this cute cake on the net and couldn't stop, but thinking to myself that it was a toy set and not a cake at first.

Funnily enough I have the book with that 1st cake in, and I'm making it at the moment for a wedding cake for my best friend :)
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

It's very spooky indeed that you posted that cake as I was making it. The book by Debbie Brown has some wonderful cakes in it, I love the Snoopy one.

I'll post a photo here tomorrow night when it's done :D

Taking the cake on the train from London to Nottingham and then by car to Shropshire is far enough Staci...Don't think I could manage to carry one all the way to the States :) :)

We had a local cake maker make a cake that looked like Jeff Gordon's car. It was life size. Just so all of you who don't know who Jeff Gordon is he is a Nascar Driver. And drives a full size car. I think it won an award for the best cake, but I don't know if it was local or national.
