Why do they want to blame ebay? If they feel they are getting an unfair price wouldn't you just raise the price fromt he start

Schleich does not get it do they.... SMURFS are collector pieces and people are willing to pay to get them and they do go up in value in such an enviroment as collecting.. I often think that they hate us collectors and want smurfs to be just toys

I second that, if they consider smurfs to be toys only, why did they release those sockles? Sure, I wouldn't have done any harm to a sockel.

I dare say, that I found one footballer without the sockel and the ball, but I couldn't resist him for 1,40 €.

I've got very bad news guys. I sent an order to Schönwald & this is their reply:-

They're all sold out!!!!! Already!!!!

Whether this is a result of that newspaper article I really don't know

I expect we'll be seeing them going for high prices on ebay in the near future as I doubt that they were all bought by collectors Exactly what Schleich wanted to avoid.

Actually I find it weird from the Schonwald administration as well...

If these are meant to be promotional items, I can understand that if somebody orders a few, or wants to pick up a few that they do that...especially for those who have been interested in them and kept in good contact with them over the last few year.

But if they are now already sold out I guess somebody else bought hundreds of them in one buy?

That seems not to be the purpose of having a promotional item....

This time I have serious doubts that they were bought by someone interested in helping collectors & more for making a profit.

Maybe I'm just being cynical Anyway, I need cheering up so I'm going to drink another Oktoberfest beer & watch something funny on TV...

I do wish people would stop buying smurfs like this for the overflated prices...that's the only way to stop that crap ( )
