Thanks for posting the picture of the new smurfs I'm not sure that I like all of them but some are pretty cool. They often look better when you have them in the hand.

Thanks also for the info about Virgo Schleicher. I shall keep an eye out for that variation when they arrive in the shops in Frankfurt.

And soon, maybe 3 months from now, you get to see the smurfs that will be sold in 2011.

The Virgo smurf: First batch has the flower NOT attached to the head. Any future Virgos will have the flower attached to the head. Don't go looking in the 2010 smurf display, you'll probably not find the first batch in the display. Chances to find the first batch in Nirth America should be higher than elsewhere, but in total there will be more variations in "Not-North America". This might sound confusing, but if you think about it, it CAN make sense if you know statistics.

define batch! What numbers are we talking about. Dom told us Hexalotte was sold in 6000 ex. Are this batch 10000 or more??? Maybe it helps us to figure out how hard they will be to find.

But since you have given us so much intresting information, I can´t help asking questions.

Another question: Do you know if Dr Dinch was manufactured only once? Or did they manufacture more of them when they released Hexalotte? It seems there are a lot of Dr Dinch out there!

Does schleich has a list of the real variation they made??? I m pretty sure they kept some where a listing of all smurfs (even one of the smurf) they had produced

Yippee!!! I went shopping today & came home with 10 of the new smurfs

The only 2 that I didn't get were the centaur archer one & the bull (I can't remember the English terms - they're Stier & Schütze over here). I could have got the Stier but all 3 that were in the one store had rubs & the other store didn't have any. Niether store had the Schütze.

I also found 5 of the discontinued smurfs with the new markings:-

Angel - with address & date stamp
Vanity - with date stamp
Harmony - with date stamp
Medicine man - with date stamp
Chief - with date stamp

All in all a very smurfy day
