That is so funny :) :) :)

I'd love to have one of those smurfs but it always costs so much to have them sent over from the US :???: And then the customs office keeps on confiscating my packages so that I have to pay import duty on them to get my grubby mitts on them :banghead:  :banghead:

Hi All; I hear that Family Dollar has Smurf kites. A couple of diffrent sizes and characters. We don't have a Family Dollar.

I don't know if these are new variations or just the same smurfs already released in different packages, but the Italian importer (Giochi Preziosi) for the plastic smurfs has these surprise packages on sale (even if I haven't seen them yet).

I fould a bigger picture. It says that there are 12 different subjects, 8 of which brand new.
And I also found them on sale at a newsstand: each packet was priced 4 euros  , so I passed.
I would be nice to have a complete set, but the number of packs to buy before completing a set would be too high.

Those look so nice, but you would have to know alot of people who are also buying them so you can trade, or I agree the price would be crazy...... now with that being said. I probably would still end up buying a bunch :banghead: :)

I just wanted to say...since when has the price kept you from going after them? :o :o (or me for that matter )

I have to be really careful with my money right now until I am finally moved and got all I need in regards to furniture but I would be soooo tempted to get a full box of them if I saw them in a store around here.

I really like them :D

If I see them here then I'll definitely buy a heap :) :) :)

How big are this figures, what are they made of? Are they like the ones from the Dutch supermarkets? So many questions :) :) :)

I noticed that the 12 smurfs in the bpz are different from the ones in the other picture, and the packages I saw here are written in Italian and Greek, not in English, so maybe there are more sets around. A seller here in Italy said that he expects more series coming out in the future.

The smurfs are the same as the ones in the plastic bi-packs (that I don't have) but maybe there are some new subjects.

I saw them only once in a newstand in Bologna, but thery are available also in Milano (there is a shop there that sells them), so if you want to find them you may want to try newsstands more than regular shops (maybe the big chains only will have them).

Of course, if I see more of them and if someone here wants them, I can buy them for you and then send them around.

Thank you for the offer, Paolo...If they ever come down in price, I'd be interested in a couple...just so I can compare them to the US releases. :D

I just returned from a gorgeous holiday in Italy ( and 2 days in Switserland) and I looked in various places to find them.
I searched in Naples, Pompei, Orvieto, Capri, Pozuolli etc and at least at 10 newspaper stands in Rome and finally, I found some in Rome!
Here are some pics, I bought several , but I unwrapped 2 of them so far.
