Hi,
I have recently got an exemplar of the old farmhouse. It is nearly complete, there is only missing the white rope with the wooden beam and the nest with the stork and baby.
The markings on the baseplate are:
CE Schleich S
GERMANY
On the green roof:
Schleich S
W. GERMANY

Now I wonder whether I need a special stork for it. I think it is the one with a light brown nest, but which markigns should it have? :D

Hi Simon,

I think you could check my thread about the farms. I thought I had a complete set with boxes of these until Stefan showed us the Schleich farm that was sold for the farmlife. I have seen this once on ebay but I then I didn´t know it was a real colourversion. :(

I will check if my CE farm also has a CE stork.

Here is the thread:

In Sweden the smurfs are blue ( and yellow).

Simon,

when I look at your picture it seems you have the farm they sold just before changing to the new farm. And the marking goes very well with that. That farm had a more sandcoloured roof.

The stork you should look for is this. :D

And good luck finding it. Shouldn´t be that hard.

Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

That is a very nice farm Steve. But yours don´t have the CE marking right? And I believe your green roof is very shiny grassgreen material, if you check under where it isn´t painted.

Simons roof is the same materialcolour as the Kwak farm. Dull dark green, and then painted nice on the side you see.

And the barrels are different painted!! Also Steves latern is painted yellow. The latern on Simons you can´t see, is black, unpainted.???

I think!!! :-?

You're right :D

I didn't know that there are such big differences between the farmhouses, but this probably is because I'm not much into buildings (one needs a lot of place and money to collect them :) ). I must somehow have missed your thread about the farm, so it was interesing to read.

Anyway, thank you André, now I know which stork I need. I hope you'll get your missing farm soon. :D

You have the red/russet shutters on your farmhouse too Simon, and mine are the green/blue shutters
