I only know there will be a lot of merchandising stuff at the market... like boxes to put your bread in, blanckets, towels, schoolmaterial,...

so we have a lot to save...

Maybe they will do some of the characters from the movie?

that was my thinking as well. they might do 'movie style' looking smurf pvcs. With 2011 being the year of the movie release. Or something generic like the 'classics' set. Something that is not specifically a themed set. Also I would be very surprised if schleich doesn't release anything new next year like playsets or supers... or something completely new... with the smurfs comeback they'd want to extend the smurf line of toys you would think.

I don't know if I would want them in movie style but maybe some of the classic characters in poses or scenes related to the movie.... a nice clumsy figurine would be nice as he will be featured in the movie quite a bit.please no Neil Patric Harris figurines though...... Hey maybe since we have had movie smurfs we could have smurfs going to the movies figurines....smurf with popcorn...usher smurf...smurf running projector...smurf in theater seat...... smurf cleaning gum off theater seat.... ticket taker smurf... box office smurf... or smurfs on the re carpet...

I'm wondering if the 2011 line will be reduced back to 8 figures or keep it 12.

Postby Ritter_Schlumpfenherz » Mon Oct 11, 2010 1:52 am
I bet it will be reduced.

Hihi, yes :-)

To give you a small hint:
* Schleich doesn't throw away old molds
* Schleich is aware that there is a movie somewhere out there, although it hasn't hit Germany, yet.
* Don't expect accessories (yet?)

Great hints Schleicher!!

now we can start guessing.

When you write this I do expect some of the old molds back. I wonder which??? Maybe the indians?? And there are a lot of old molds I would love to see again in ( maybe) new paintvariations?? :D

With many of the old comics beeing released again, I am hoping the old more comiclike smurfs are beeing manufactured again. Off course with new markings!! :-D

For example Astro, Jungle and King would be awesome!!!
