In the Schleich Web site, the following smurfs have been marked as "Collector's item 2011":
- Smurfette on Holiday (40262)
- Computer Smurf (40249)
- Keyboarder (40250)
- Red Smurf Cottage (49011)
What does this marking mean?
some prisoners are very zebra painted!!)))
If they were being withdrawn, why bother printing a poster? My guess is like this.
Just like this poster of the other items, they are the ones being withdrawn during next year??? Maybe, I am not sure??
But as you see on the poster it says the same thing. Collectors items 2011????
Great information Schleicher!!The poster shows most items that are being retired 31.Dec. 2010. Some are mising, like the Computersmurf. You will most likely still find some of the items in your local store, so if you are planning to buy retired items, the poster shoudl give you a rough idea what you should be looking for.

Do you have all 10 supers with the new addressmarking, Maureen??I agree..the smurf with the cell phone looks funny now..but was so current when first released
I like it how the first smurfs used historical accessories (i.e. the photographer).then they became current (camera) and now are out dated again. At least the laptop smurf is still current
The new markings are fairly easy to find right now (even in the US)..but I think they will become rarer with time, so it's a good idea to stock up on them if you look at smurfs as an investment
