:( I've got quite a number of boxed Smurfs but how much does the box add value?

Not sure I can quote a price for the box. But this I know if I am looking at two Smurfs in the same condition, but 1 has the box. I am going to pay a few dollars more for the one in the box. I probibly wouldn't pay more than $5 more though.

It depends on the box...some of them are pretty hard to find and will go for a lot of money, sometimes even more than the super smurf that comes with it.

Many of the boxes are really hard to find and could be worth a lot.
I also think it depends on how big the differences are.

Many collectors don´t care about if the writing on the boxes backsides are different, grüne punkt logo, maia borges stickers or markings, ages markings etc. The boxes with bigger differences in languages, colours, front pictures etc is more attractive for collectors.

I have a pretty good idea about when all the boxes were made but for some we can only guess.

There are a few boxes I don´t have which are not so special and don´t go for high prices but they are very very hard to find and I only see them rarely on ebay.

And then there are a few boxes that are extremely rare and also go for high prices. And will probably just get more expensive in the future.

In Sweden the smurfs are blue ( and yellow).
