What size is Gargamel?
Gargamel and Clumsy are the same size -- they look a lot bigger on the TRU website but are only about 12 inches when standing (not sitting in box)....when you get all the TRU plush, Brad...they are about the same size as the medium plush online ($12.99 ones) :D
thanks. he looks much bigger from those photos. I'm not getting the medium sized plush just yet. Expensive to grab them all at once. Had to go with the jumbos and beanies to start with. Might wait to see if we get the medium size plush here otherwise I'll grab them from America soon after. The only other movie toys I really want are the individual smurf figures but I'll wait for those as well.

I've now started spotting these at shops, but have also noticed that their more expensive that the "normal" ones...
Is it only over here or is it also over there where you live? :-?

I do too....he's my favorite smurf plush ever!

And Sandra, the talking plushes are $19.99 and the normal ones the same size are $7.99 so a big difference here too.

Wasn't talking about the plushes, but guess all movie related stuff is more expensive than the regular Smurfs then. Maybe extra movie copyrights, or just speculation that kids will rather have the movie Smurfs than the regular cartoon/comic ones. :-?

In America they are actually cheaper I thin... especially the two packs at target. That being said I would guess schlecih smurfs are probably cheaper in Europe than they are in America. MY daughter bought a schleich smurfette for 6 dollars at a comic store yesterday and that is the price of a jakks 2 pack at target to give you an idea what prices are like here (though they all vary from store to store.

Hopefully we have them in the stores soon..I checked a few websites and didn't see them but ebay has them usually faster than the stores.

Very nice these last two playsets..... I love smurfette with the NY yellow cab.
From reading on the box there's some french language on there, so these are probably intended also in Quebec, Canada..... The chase is on!

Smurfy dreams everyone! :D

I went to Walmart today. I wanted to see if they had gotten any new movie Smurfs. I couldn't find them. I finally found them in the Clearance isle. However they didn't drop the price. Walmart apperntly doesn't know what they are doing with the Smurfs. In my store and two others I looked in. They did a good job of displaying them, but They had 3 or 4 boxes of Papa's and Clumsy's Probibly 20 or more of them. They had a couple of Gargamel/Azarel's in there too. They did do a pretty good job with the plushes. Maybe 3 boxes of each size. There arn't that many in each box.

Not sure why, but not all walmarts carry the Smurfs. This might have been a test run. I doubt that they will carry anything else.
