They have just started selling these in NZ. I haven't seen the Smurfette house, but I think I've seen the rest.

I have the 'Baker Smurf' (shouldn't it be greedy?!.) set and I was disappointed with it. The picture makes it seem easy to assemble, but any slight touch and the set falls to bits. The picture makes it look like you get two cakes, but you only get one. Everything else is there though.

The paint job was awful and the 'tongue' is part of his nose, and not his mouth (looks like he has a blood nose). The green 'blok' part you assemble the set on is ridiculous to. For $15 I felt it was a waste of money. The 'oven' and 'table' need to be half assembled on the block and half not.. I can't really explain it.. but I just don't get it.

I got Lazy and Baker, and didn't really thought they were that bad for the price (the one I payed, not the price they actually cost ;) ).

I was actually impressed that the quality of them was better than I expected... and I love the cute smurf figures. Did not notice that about Baker smurf, but maybe I just didn't look at him that close - by husband built that set.
I do agree that the base is completely idiotic & hopeless. :banghead:

As for the cake... you can either have one big cake or 2 smaller ones... so the box doesn't lie on that part.

I grab these 2 on sale at T'R'US for about 2,67€. So I'm happy with them, and will grab the other sets if I find them at this reduced price... but no, I will never pay the full price for them!

PS - BTW, Awesome display case you got Christy! :-D
Hadn't seen this topic before.

The first one is an advents calendar, the second one is another playset :D

I agree about the quality..I do like these but putting them together is very very hard :banghead:

I know you can take them apart, but the picture makes it look like you get two cakes and also put the little table thing into Greedy's hand, which is impossble to do for me. The picture is very deceiving.
