I think the good thing with the Schleichboxes, from all the years, is that they are very easy to open and then close again without ruining the box. I always open the boxes, but carefully. Like with the windmill, houses etc. No point having them if you can´t feel and touch them. But that is just my opinion. In some cases with other items it is not possible to open the wrapping. Like with the discosmurfette from Holland in magazine. I want to keep this one inside the bag so that I can see how it was sold. That is a item that will be very hard to figure out in the future how it was sold unless you have it together with a magazine. It is not in any Schleichcatalogue. Same with the new Puppy. It will be kept with the game and this way it shows how and when it was sold.
Same with the basf-smurf and smurfette( dinch and hexalotte). I printed out the webpicture when the CEO held that box and showed it on the pressconferance and keep it together with that box. This is the best way to show that the items are genuine in the future.
Regarding opening the decadeboxes it is very easy to do without making any big damage on the box. Just make a clean cut, like on the picture. I don´t think anyone should try to remove the seal because then the paper would probably loosen with the seal??? I just put them back again after checking them and it is very hard to see that I have had the box opened!
