She's wearing a dress. Look at the smurfettes in your collection: I'm sure that you'll see some other smurfettes "without" tail.

edit: I think I now understand what you mean. The "white" area on her back is from the mold of the glass and connects the two molds. So smurfette probably has got a hole in her back!

That's exactly what I meant. The fact that she got painted after being glued to the glass, makes it look very wierd from that angle...
But guess that only us "crazy" smurffers look at those weird angles...

I heard from an owner of a small toy store that he could get the new smurfs in December only when buying a Schleich christmas set for 1700€.

By the way: The new smurfs (both series) are official now (with their official names, for example: Smurfette ).

You can even take a look at the brochure (in different languages).
