Andre, it was a pleasure. Glad you won it. :-D I had visions of the internet not working and missing it and it going for the bid it was on. :)

Martin, thank you. I have some Ozzy friends who I can tease about them being a second class rugby side. :)

With the soccer ones, what are the correct markings? Christy has some with date markings and some with & without the W.Germany marking. :-?

Lastly to the rugby ones; were the South African and British Lions ones ever made with white pvc as well or will they only be blue pvc?
Martin knows this and I think he told us that about 90% of the south africa rugbys were blue material.

I would like to find them in blue material. :D

In Sweden the smurfs are blue ( and yellow).

regarding the soccermarkings.

It was first made with onnly peyo and W germany. That marking can be found on the White shirt and also on the orange shirt. The ones without the dots. Both these also have mustard dots. No dots on the shirts.

The UK teams, if we check the leaflets were sold and shown in at least 2 different leaflets. First by national, which would sudjest mid 1980 maybe. then also in 1981( Coronet). These I think always should have Schleichmarkings. Either on the arm withour yearmarking or on the shorts then with yearmarkings. This was because Schleich change the markings on the soccers during the time these were made. So both variations are most likely possible on all of them. :-?

The bundesliga smurfs got the marking on the back of the arm. But maybe both variations were used on them to, since they basicly were made during the same years. :D
