I heard back from Jakks Consumer Relations this morning. They are releasing new movie figures and plush items this fall! I was hoping for a late spring release, but I'll take what I can get. I wasn't sure they still had the rights. I'll be on the lookout for pictures from the New York Toy Fair next week and post them if I find them.

New Smurfs! I found them at a Kmart in Alabama. I thought at first that they were from some retailer exclusive sub-line from last year that I hadn't heard about, but the package says 2013!

I found them in Tuscaloosa. What I don't understand is why they didn't show these at New York Toy Fair instead of the sloppy packaging mock-ups. But I'm just glad they're already starting to be available.

Went to Kmart and found they have more stuff than
the Grab 'Ems, package, they also have the "Mashems " is some kind
of squishy little figure (individual wraped) also a Surprise Pack mushroom
shaped box, includes 1 smurf figure and playsets too.

Papa smurf and Grouchy are the figures

Guess these smurfs are some I won't be getting, unless I find them cheap at a flea market/auction at one point...

Here is a close up...surely they are some of the weirdest smurfs ever seen..and they feel like a snake...not that I have ever touched a snake..but I'd say that's what a snake feels like
