I read over the internet a rumor that this year there will be an official release for the US market of a Smurfs themed Monopoly.
Can anyone confirm that?

I have seen a fake Monopoly game on eBay every now and then. I first saw it after the release of the first movie. Though I never brought it.

I have seen the same rumors, Paolo...I think it might even have been introduced at the Toy Fair but I have not seen any actual pictures yet. Would be exciting though if true

I'd love to see an official Smurfs Monopoly released. It's probably one of the most boring board games ever produced but it still has a huge attraction.

We have several different versions:- British 1980's version, German 1980's version, recent German Football World Cup version & Pythonopoly (based on Monty Python and the Holy Grail).

A Smurfs version would be a great addition
