They are really cool. They certainly look like something from a carneval group & as one has the shield & Kölner Dom on it I would think like saussard*be that they are from a group in Cologne. Presumably something to do with children. I can't make out all the text on the photos though. Thanks for sharing the picture with us.
By the way, for those who can't read German, 'Mir sin für üch do' is dialect for 'We're there for you'. The group probably supports childrens needs or such like.
They look really cool. Are these items very rare or what are they exactly as I am not aware of them....would I love to have them?...you bet...lol
Thanks for showing us

PS - I now want to go to the Cologne carneval...I have been told it's full of crazy fun people....just my scene....I could dress us as a Syd Smurf on tour.
Hello Smurfs
This items are medals (in Germany we call Karnevalsorden)of a german
carnivals group from Cologne. This group collects money for the german Cancer assistance.Particular for children. And this year has the group her 25 anniversary. So they make a extra medal(The Smurf with the Cologne Dom and the Cologne coat of arms).Normally they make only the
one big medal and a pin.
Smurfy days

Thanks Ralf for sharing the pics and info with us. I have been told I should go to the Cologne carneval if I am ever in Germany and I am sure one day I will dress up and enjoy the fun.....and a little of the beer too
